Assistant Manager- Financial Planning & Analysis, Capital Forecasting

Help provide strategic insights and advice to our operating groups and senior management. Join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, which is responsible for capital budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and management reporting for the Financial Management Group.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders across Group Treasury on projections of capital and other key metrics, handle ad-hoc requests relating to capital and dividend decisions, and drive strategic change across forecasting, analysis, and reporting to senior stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and working with Tech teams to implement transformation initiatives, as well as preparing reports on capital projections, details, and analysis packs for ALCO and CFO meetings.

What you offer

  • A post-graduate degree, such as CA, CPA, or MBA, with 5-9 years of post-graduate experience in financial services, including experience in balance sheet management roles. Previous exposure to Basel capital rules for a bank.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical skills.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to work in a virtual global team and see the bigger picture.
  • An excellent eye for detail, with the ability and desire to investigate deeper when required.
  • Experience with systems and tools such as TM1, Alteryx, and Power BI would be an added advantage.
