In this role you will lead a cross-functional product development team to develop new products using our stage gate Product Commercialization Process (PCP) as well as you will be part of the RD team design the product and belonging process and transfer it into manufacturing. When you succeed in this role, we will enable our customers through innovative, high quality products.

A day in the Life

  • Lead a cross-functional core team through all aspects of product development and commercialization. From ideation to planning and execution, to closure, including risk management and design control activities. Drive program budget adherence and overall project execution.
  • Lead planning, execution and reporting of experimental work. Some lab work may be required.
  • Responsible for project communication, including status reporting and stakeholder management. Secure acceptance and approval from the project sponsor and steering committee.

Education

  • M.Sc. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or other related discipline

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in managing projects of varying size and complexity through stage-gate processes, preferably in the life sciences field
  • 2+ years of lab experience
  • Solid background in protein chemistry
  • Experience in developing and launching new products is an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Project management toolbox
  • Experience with coupling chemistry of proteins to solid phases
  • Good understanding of Experimental design, Quality by Design and Process Validation (life cycle approach) according to ISO13485 
  • Good understanding of statistical experimental design and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice as well as regulatory guidelines and standards related to medical devices for IVD
  • Knowledge about Design Driven Innovation
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and a Scandinavian language
