Job Purpose: 

To fulfil Tech Data’s people resourcing demands through the delivery of a professional, credible and proactive recruitment service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a seamless recruitment process from candidate attraction through to on boarding; prioritizing a range of roles from Administration to Senior Management, Sales to Product Management, introducing a pipeline of talent for Tech Data.
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Manager in reducing recruitment spend by focusing on direct resourcing, leveraging internal and external networks, social media and minimising dependency on agencies.
  • Manage relationships with search firms and PSL, ensuring compliance within agreed SLA’s. Also educate agencies as to how we go about recruitment, so they are aware of the role they play.
  • Help develop the Tech Data Employer Brand and ensure it is marketed effectively to attract high quality candidates.
  • Build credible and proactive relationships with hiring managers of all levels and the HR Business Partners across all Tech Data locations, ensuring recruitment plans and expectations are managed, delivered, compliant and measurable.
  • Own Volume sales Recruitment and drive ways of improving how we attract and assess talent in this area.

  • Developing strategies to attract, effectively screen and assess candidates, and match to opportunities in the company.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

  • A blend of recruitment experience (in-house or agency ) for technology or channel-based companies is essential
  • Experience of developing resourcing strategies and creating in-depth recruitment plans to fulfil business targets is essential
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of proven recruitment methodologies and success with direct recruitment, working to tight deadlines with diverse roles.
  • Experience of working with sales, marketing and all levels of management to develop job descriptions and candidate pipelines highly desirable
  • Experience in identifying competencies and conducting competency based interviews
  • Negotiation skills to support supplier and candidate management (at offer stage)
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous use of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Candidates should be confident, capable and credible ambassadors for HR and Tech Data with excellent communication skills and natural relationship building abilities
