$124,355 to $163,216

Summary 

The Senior Technical Specialist 3, Digital Twin, manages the MTA DT application, which manages all of the digital information about MTA assets maintained by C&D. This includes PDF drawings, CADD files, BIM Models, laser scan surveys, IoT data, etc. The application also connects to other EAM systems to provide users with a single pane of glass about MTA assets. 

Responsibilities 

Typical job duties may include: 

Responsible for all aspects of the MTA DT application, including the following: Maintain and administer the Bentley ALIM and iTwin Experience environments that are part of the MTA DT application.

Provide end-user support for the application. Maintain and control user access to the application. Coordinate with the Drawing Control team to input data into the application.

Coordinate with the CADD/BIM team to input data into the application. 

Education and Experience 

Bachelor of Science degree in an appropriate technical discipline or an equivalent subject.

Masters preferred.

Various disciplines may include but are not limited to Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Computer, Communications, Electrical, Electronics, Signals, or Systems Engineering/Technology. 

Must have a minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience. 

Must have a minimum of six (6) years in a managerial or supervisory role and/or project manager role in a large, multi-faceted organization and/or with highly complex systems.

Competencies: 

Knowledge of Digital Twin/BIM/GIS software and workflows.

AEC project management experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Railroad industry experience is a plus.

Knowledge of asset management and record management systems is a plus.

Knowledge of Bentley ALIM and iTwin platform a plus.

Knowledge of Microsoft Purview Information Protection is a plus. 

Experience with navigating through a large multi-discipline organization.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of industry trends related to Digital Twins.

Experience in large-scale technical issues for significant construction projects or projects with highly complex systems preferred. 

Experience leading and managing designers, contractors, subcontractors, and/or vendors.

PMP or relevant technical certifications are desirable. 

NYS Licensed Professional Engineer a plus

Demonstrated knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all internal organizational levels to drive project/program outcomes. 

Demonstrated ability to work in a high-profile, high-pressure environment effectively. 

Must have focus and ability to deliver results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

Must be a proven leader as a change agent and creative/innovative thinker with the ability to align business goals with solutions to drive process improvements. 

Must possess excellent team-building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.

Alternate Delivery experience preferred. 

Proficiency in current design and engineering software and Microsoft Office are required.

Able to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines.
