This pivotal role is at the intersection of consumer privacy protection and the optimization of marketing data utility. You'll be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of advanced technical solutions that navigate the complex landscape of privacy regulations while harnessing the power of data signals to drive targeted marketing strategies.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will orchestrate the roadmap for ethical data use across Wayfair, blending market trends analysis, collaborative innovation with key internal stakeholders, and the articulation of a forward-thinking vision for privacy and signals technology.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft and execute a product roadmap that aligns Wayfair's data privacy initiatives with its digital marketing signals strategy. This includes developing privacy-compliant, yet robust data utilization frameworks that empower our marketing and analytics operations.
  • Champion a collaborative approach, partnering closely with Legal, Security, Marketing, Data Protection, and Technology teams. Your leadership will ensure cohesive progress towards shared goals, fostering an environment of innovation and compliance.
  • Position yourself as the go-to expert on data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, Apple's ITP/ATT, etc.) and digital marketing signals. You will guide Wayfair through the evolving regulatory landscape, translating complex legal and technical requirements into actionable business strategies.
  • Actively manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring that all data practices and integrations meet stringent privacy standards while supporting strategic business objectives.
  • Lead the charge in defining best practices for signals integration and privacy-centric marketing solutions. Your work will include the exploration of new technologies and platforms, determining build versus buy decisions, and optimizing data flows for maximum efficiency and compliance.

What You'll Need:

  • 4+ years of leadership in B2B software/SaaS product management, Adtech, or Data Privacy roles, with a demonstrated ability to drive product vision and execution.
  • A comprehensive grasp of privacy regulations and a strategic mindset for leveraging digital signals within the boundaries of these regulations.
  • Solid technical understanding of web technologies (cookies, local storage, iframes, browser security features) and the nuances of privacy implementation across browsers and mobile applications.
  • Exceptional skills in problem structuring, hypothesis development, and prioritizing efforts towards the most impactful initiatives.
  • Outstanding ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively across a spectrum of audiences, including technical teams, senior leadership, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A track record of building strong, productive relationships across diverse teams, managing partner and vendor interactions, and leading cross-functional projects to successful outcomes.
