We are currently recruiting for a Business Strategy Analyst to join the Strategic Alliances team at Worldpay. This position is based in London and aligned to the Worldpay University Program; a two-year program, suited to entry level joiners who aspire to develop a successful career with a leading payments company.

About The Team 

This role sits in the Strategic Alliances team, a core part of the Strategic Partnerships function at Worldpay. The Strategic Alliances team helps enable strategic conversations for Worldpay senior executives with some of the world’s largest companies, payments providers, and geographic leaders. 

The team develops partnership frameworks, and coordinates deal execution, while also working closely with our product and commercial teams to ensure successful launch of industry leading partnerships. When two CEO’s meet and agree that their companies should work together, it’s up to this team to figure out how. We are a global team, covering all regions!

What You Will Be Doing 

This role is all about helping identify and drive meaningful engagements. When opportunity is identified at the highest level, this team helps to coordinate the go-to-market strategy. That includes getting involved in product strategy, pricing, working with marketing, modelling revenue, and even talking directly to some of the biggest eCommerce customers in the world. Initially you will be supporting the team in some of their strategy work, but our expectation is that you will quickly take ownership of projects of your own and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working flexibly across a couple of strategic projects, managing your time, and prioritising effectively
  • Supporting engagement with Worldpay customers and partners, working alongside commercial leads to spark interest, secure new customer wins and generate revenue
  • Providing project management support, managing a broad group of stakeholders 
  • Supporting on data sourcing and analysis
  • Providing input and perspective on strategic opportunities and evaluating different approaches to maximize complex relationships
  • Regularly updating internal stakeholders, including more senior members of the team on progress within your projects 

What You Bring 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree 
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening and rapport building skills 
  • Proactive mindset, with a willingness to ask questions and put forward ideas
  • An aptitude to research and analyse key information and trends
  • Commercial focus, with an interest in driving revenue for the business
  • Highly organised with good time management skills and an ability to multi-task
  • You have a keen interest in the payments and technology industry
