Our exciting Opportunity:

Reporting to the CU Head of Network Operations you will have overall accountability end to end for the overall Network Design and Optimisation business. You will be expected to lead and proactively drive within all phases of the sales and delivery lifecycles to ensure a profitable business outcome with high levels of customer satisfaction. As CU Head NEO NDO, you will ensure that your team is dimensioned both in scale and skill to meet the business needs of the organisation from both tactical and strategic perspectives. A relentless focus on extracting bottom line improvements via automation, processes, tools and delivery model innovations will be a key component of the role. You will also be expected to proactively drive top line growth together respective sales teams with the Key Account. Key aspect will be of customer relationship, where it’s expected to engage on a regular basis to develop key relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout all phases of the Project. 

Overall Job Accountabilities 

  • Developing and leading a team in both scale and skill to deliver according to agreed business and delivery strategies.
  • Tracking project financials and ensuring that respective plans are developed and put into place together with respective stakeholders to ensure financial Targets are being achieved.
  • Proactive engagement in measuring and tracking key efficiency indicators across cost centre and project and executing on plans to improve.
  • Defining, develop and drive execution of tactical and long-term strategies to support overall business objectives.
  • Together with the respective project/program organisation, enhance the profitability through continual commitment and proactive drive of efficiencies via tools, process and innovative delivery strategies. You will leave no stone unturned to find smarter, faster deliveries, leveraging on automation – ML and AI.
  • Proactive engagement and leadership with the respective sales organisations within the Key Accounts to identify and drive leads and opportunities from concept to realization. You will have key role reinforcing add- on sales culture and driving top line growth.
  • Provide the leadership on the evaluation, certification and management of authorized services providers/sub-contractors
  • Ownership & implementation for all tool platforms required for the NDO deliveries are deployed, operated and maintained throughout their lifecycle. 
  • Lead C-Level customer presentations where required and proactively engage on a regular basis within the customer organisation to identify needs, expectations and develop close relationships.
  • Proactively analyse customer network data for capacity bottlenecks impacting customer experience, creating a proposal of where and when to invest which is to be tabled and progressed with the Key Account.
  • You will be solely accountable for the development of the technical competence and certification in line with our 3 year rolling projected business demand. 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or IT mandatory
  • Other Business related qualifications highly regarded.

Relevant Experience

Presales support experience:

  • Over the past 2-3 years, should have demonstrated proven engagement in an OEM business-centric environment with one of the prominent Indian operators in multiple presales engagements, from the RFP stage to contract closures. Should have played a leading role in the following areas. 
  • Conducting a comprehensive assessment of network services deliverables, considering the unique nature of the business and the defined exit criteria
  • Skilfully constructing compelling arguments using a consultative approach to substantiate key points from an OEM perspective. 
  • Expertly negotiating and reaching agreements on network acceptance criteria, including KPI thresholds, time frames, measurement criteria, and more. 
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and reaching agreements on KPI formulae, PM counters, measurement windows, and other relevant factors.
  • Demonstrating expertise in costing, resource planning, and the implementation of automation to ensure efficient contract delivery and maximize profitability

Consultative Skill sets:

  • Demonstrating proven expertise in the OEM domain with a focus on "Network and Technology Consulting" as an established Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the industry, should have effectively engaged with customers, providing knowledge and guidance to the customers on critical strategic decision points. This includes advising on the introduction of new technologies, software, features, and products, as well as network modernization initiatives
  • Solid understanding and customer engaging skillsets on traffic steering. Mobility management with E2E expertise, spectrum utilization and optimization.
  • Optimization and Technology expertise.
  • Hands-on rock-solid on experience LTE and VoLTE optimization including end to end understanding of network topology, troubleshooting process, interoperability within and outside the technology /layers.
  • Exposures to industry and enterprise centric communication system establishment including mmW centric use cases. 
  • Sound understanding of 5G network architecture, protocols, evolution path.
  • Hands on Experience as Sr SME on inter-intra technology traffic steering, SPID based user control, VoNR, network slicing etc.
  • Abilities to develop strategies and methodologies for network optimization, considering factors such as capacity, coverage, quality of service, and cost-effectiveness. This involves analysing network performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimization techniques to enhance network efficiency and customer experience
