Job Description

For one of our teams based in Vienna we are currently looking to hire a Scientist with a focus on method validation and method optimization. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Planning and execution of method validation projects
  • Responsible for analytical investigations and problem solving activities
  • Writing of analytical documents like method validation protocols and reports for chromatographic and other standard analytical methods in English
  • Support of Validation / qualification of analytical equipment
  • Supporting international method (especially HPLC, UPLC and wet chemistry methods) transfer projects 
  • Responsible for method optimizations 

Qualifications

For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with

  • Bachelor / Master degree or PhD in analytical or pharmaceutical science or biochemistry/ food chemistry, preferably with first industrial experience in the relevant area
  • Fluent in English written and spoken, German would be beneficial 
  • Proven proficiency in technical writing (e.g. publications, thesis, project reports)
  • Experience in HPLC/UPLC covering various detection systems and standard analytical procedures like Karl Fischer, UV/VIS, titrations would be an advantage
  • Expertise with method validations
  • Previous experience working in a GMP environment 
  • Experience in international project teams would be desired
