Job Summary:

As a Member of the Corporate Development & Strategy team, and reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy, you will work collaboratively throughout the company to evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities. You will provide tools to the management team with analytical support to provide insight to guide the business. You will be an important contributor to managing deals and the integration process. You will also support in strategic analyses and materials for key business stakeholders, senior level leadership and Board of Directors.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Research industry trends, competitive landscape and internal product development efforts.
  • Create business models and develop pro-forma financial models for acquisitions and other strategic business opportunities, leveraging comparables and discounted cash flow techniques.
  • Conduct company research and identify its value proposition.
  • Project manage the due diligence and post-merger integration work streams.
  • Work with functional leaders to build the Integration Roadmap.
  • Help track identified synergies throughout the integration process.
  • Develop solutions for challenges and opportunities in partnership with functional leaders.
  • Present material for weekly process leads meeting and steering committee update meetings.
  • Be a point of escalation to the EVP Corporate Development & Strategy and help guide and promote issue resolution for assigned workstreams.
  • Participate in executive briefing meetings with Steering Committee, Integration Leads, process leaders and Executive Leadership team (C Suite) for executive briefing, decision-making, and escalation.
  • Support in preparation of materials for semi-annual board strategy update meetings.
  • Support Ad hoc strategic projects in collaboration with business leaders to help inform new business opportunities, cost benefit analysis and other strategic projects.

Travel: 

This role may involve travel to the company’s operations within North America, and more rarely, around the world, depending on the needs of the business. Travel is not expected to exceed 15% of the position.

Work Environment:

  • Prolonged sitting in front of a computer and using the telephone/conference facilities.
  • Hybrid Schedule- 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home. 
  • This position can be location in San Ramon, CA or Trumbull, CT 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, venture capital, private equity, business development or financial/strategic consulting.
  • Experience working on full acquisition process, including modeling, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including experience building complex financial models and valuing companies.
  • Outstanding research, quantitative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience in process, services and technology integration or migration.
  • Experience working across an enterprise and within all levels of an organization, including working with executives and senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing presentation material and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Experience with completing high priority and sensitive projects.
  • Strength at excelling in ambiguous and evolving environments.
  • Team player willing to contribute to success in a variety of roles.
  • Healthcare sector experience or demonstrated interest.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $84,860 and $113,147 and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
