The Communications and Marketing Manager for Community Partnership Schools works in conjunction with Community Partnership School Directors, Regional Management, Senior Leadership and core partners to increase awareness of and support for CHS Community Partnership Schools and to position CHS throughout the state as the leader in the model. Overall, the Communications and Marketing Manager contributes to the CHS high performance culture by exhibiting our values and providing quality results that position CHS as the leader in delivering proactive behavioral health, case management, community and early childhood solutions for children and families.

Essential Job Functions

1. Work with the Communications Team and Community Partnership School Directors to develop and implement strategic communications campaigns to advance the CHS Community Partnership School brand, and to advance initiatives and goals within each CHS-operated Community Partnership School.

  • Establish positive working relationships with core partners to identify communication needs and opportunities; lead the implementation of communication strategies and tactics.
  • Develop a statewide communications plan to elevate and advance the Community Partnership School brand and model, and CHS’ leadership position.
  • Develop communications plans for each CHS-operated Community Partnership School.
  • Develop and oversee adherence to process efficiencies for school-specific communications tactics, including but not limited to presentations, newsletters, brochures and web presence.
  • Coordinate production and determine content, cost, value, format and design of communications and marketing materials that advance CHS’ role in the Community Partnership School model.
  • Secure student, family, partner and staff stories and testimonials for promotional materials and advocacy activities; promote Community Partnership School successes through traditional and digital media.
  • Develop and maintain a library of Community Partnership School successes, stories, photos, videos and outcomes. Maintain Community Partnership School intranet page(s) as well as Community Partnership School presence on the CHS website.
  • Develop and implement communications plans to educate partners, including school staff, on the Community Partnership School and drive utilization of hub resources.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies, policies, processes and tools that maximize effectiveness of community engagement programs and campaigns including but not limited to fundraising, in-kind giving, volunteer management, national service, work-study, internships, and advocacy.
  • Develop digital and print collateral to promote CHS-operated Community Partnership Schools to enhance statewide , partnerships with Operations and senior leadership.
  • Market and brand data related to CHS-operated Community Partnership Schools.
  • Collaborate with Communications, Advancement and Community Partnership School team members to develop cases for support and other materials to garner financial support for the model and individual schools.
  • Oversee that CHS team members adhere to all CHS branding and graphic guidelines. Manage the Community Partnership School brand.
  • Coordinate the production of professional, animated and amateur videos for Community Partnership School promotion.
  • Participate in the development of organization-wide communication and messaging.

2. Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.

  • Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process.
  • Comply with CHS’s code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations.
  • Assist with training other team members and providing back up when necessary.
  • Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Demonstrate the CHS Common Bond values in the performance of all job duties.

Job Qualifications

Education, Certifications and Licenses

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related field, from an accredited university, required.
  • Florida Driver's License within 30 days from hire with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required.

Experience

  • Three years of experience in Communications, Marketing, or related experience in print or electronic mediums.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of

  • VARIOUS COMMUNITY RESOURCES | MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

Skills and proficiency in:

  • Planning, organization and time management, oral and written communication.
  • Interpersonal relationship building, collaboration and teaming.
  • Computer systems and MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Computer applications including graphic design software, Content Management Systems and presentation software.
  • Effective presentation skills and strong attention to detail.

Schedule Expectations

The incumbent will work a standard scheduled week, which may include weekends, holidays and evenings. The ability to work flexible hours is required to meet business needs. If working remotely, incumbent will be required to be available by telephone and email during specified hours. Travel will be on an as-needed basis to conduct CHS business-related activities.
