Job Description / Capsule

This position reports to the Commercial Operation Director and is responsible for working closely with the BU Brand Manager and will be directly responsible for managing Retail channels and building marketing activity in all strategic accounts

Typical Accountabilities

  • Specifically work with the Brand team of BU and gain a full understanding of the brand, market and channel.
  • Deliver insight driven to BU to address commercial issue
  • Develop a cohesive‐strategic plans that will combine all promotional plans and materials from Brand Marketing teams for retail channel.
  • Develop, evaluate and manage promotional activities in retail channel
  • Monitor, evaluate and record competitor trade activity within the channel
  • Organize symposium for retail customer in conjunction with brand team
  • Support BU brand team to develop Brand Operational Plan (BOP) for retail channel
  • Localize BOP from Area (if any) and ensure effective implementation of the country brand operational plans and monitor against agreed KPI.
  • Responsible for retail channel performance and development.
  • Responsible for the management of team’s budget and brands’ A&P spend.
  • Works with Field Force, BU Marketing and medical to develop key stakeholders & KOLs through scientific programs and engagement
  • Works with analysts to analyse market data and identify key segment drivers, growth opportunities and business threats;
  • Adherence to AZ global policy for external interaction, code of conduct and industry code of marketing practices.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • More than 2 years’ experience and knowledge in commercial, prefer in retail channel
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical industry, FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of product (medicines)
  • Proven experience of delivering added marketing campaign with demonstrate ROI
  • Excellent operational skills and ability to think strategically
  • Able to work cross‐functionally
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill

Desirable

  • MBA
  • Pharmacist educational background is an advantage.
