Position Description:

We’re looking for a full-time, staff SAP Basis Administrator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA. The SAP Basis Administrator involved directly in the design, implementation, and support of critical ECC, Portal, GRC, Fiori, HANA, E-Recruit, Business Objects and other SAP systems. This role will install, configure, optimize, and support SAP Technology Infrastructure including SAP NetWeaver, HANA, Sybase ASE, and SAP and 3rd party applications and integrations for the enterprise.

As the SAP Basis Administrator, here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Serves as an integrator to the functional business teams for technical services provided by the BASIS team, the client infrastructure provider and vendors/other service providers. Assists in the architecture, design, delivery, and support of new and existing SAP solutions.
  • Install, configure, manage and support SAP NetWeaver applications and components.
  • Support day-to-day tickets created by SAP Helpdesk relating to SAP Servers and Software.
  • Configure and support integration with third party SAP systems and software.
  • Setup of Consistent SAP Backup and Disaster Recovery procedures for SAP servers. 
  • Assist in creating procedures and guidelines related in the areas of SAP operations, patching, upgrades. Perform and document consistent SAP Backup procedures across the landscape along with annual disaster recovery planning and procedures for SAP servers.
  • Assist in defining, developing and maintaining the processes and procedures necessary to operate and monitor the technical environments. Implements and supports enterprise applications in a global environment.
  • Perform database administration for all SAP systems in the landscape, high availability configuration, system performance, fine tuning and optimization.
  • Ensures that all SAP project goals are accomplished according to specifications and business objectives.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • 5 to 7+ years of experience in newer SAP components like ECC, NetWeaver, WebDynpro, HANA, Fiori, Portals, GRC, SLT, Solution Manager, Business Objects, E-recruitment on HANA, SQL, and/or Sybase ASE. (HANA and Sybase ASE experience preferred).
  • SAP Basis Expertise and Extensive project experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, SUSE Linux operating systems, VMWare ESX and backup technologies.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organization skills and time management capabilities required.
  • Strong analytical and issue resolution skills and knowledge of industry best practices in SAP methodologies.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5-7+ years’ experience designing, installing, configuring, and supporting SAP Basis Technologies.
  • SAP certifications preferred.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $95,040.00 - $154,440.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
