Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product/project from inception to conclusion.
  • Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.
  • Lead and coordinate with the Vendor PM, COTRs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
  • Work independently as a VTC Lead performing as shift lead duties for first, second, or third shifts, providing guidance and direction to VTC admins on the same shift in the VOC, VTC Operations Center.
  • Perform duties of VTC administrator while performing duties of junior engineer and/or VTC Lead.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience:
  • Two to Five (5) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least two projects in technical areas including networking and/or Cisco Video Tele-Conferencing.
  • At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
  • Additional experience in the Video Teleconferencing arena, including deployment, troubleshooting, and supporting VTCs in a dynamic environment.
  • Certifications:
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
  • CCNA Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • GSEC
  • Security+ CE
  • SSCP
  • CND
  • Computing Environment Certification
  • Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA) v1.0
  • AND***
  • Cisco Certified Technician Supporting Cisco Collaboration Devices (CLTECH)
  • Clearance:
  • Must possess Secret Clearance.
