About the role
After a recent fundraising of 80 million euros with Goldman Sachs and Eurazeo, Malt has expanded into The Netherlands. As part of the initial launch team we are looking for an experienced Business Developer to join the team.
The Netherlands is a mature market for freelancing, with a variety of established players from incumbent recruitment agencies to global offshore freelance platforms. Malt is positioned to be a true disruptor to the status quo thanks to our business model and the quality of our product. An essential element of our success will come from you, the Senior Business Developer. In this role you will be responsible for acquiring, establishing, and nurturing long-term partnerships with our most important clients. This is a challenging âfull-stackâ sales role that will directly contribute to the commercial expansion of Malt all while building quality relationships with our key accounts in the Netherlands.
As one of the pioneers in the Netherlands you will also have a strategic impact (definition of go to market, positioning against competition) and you will shape the culture of the local team for the years to come. We are looking for entrepreneurial/builders/optimistic individuals.
Senior Business Developers hold a "trusted advisor" position and establish a long-term support relationship with their clients. We donât believe in closing deals and then forgetting about it, we are in it for the long haul with everyone we do business with. KAMs play a key role in bringing value to the various client stakeholders.
