Job Purpose and Impact

The Technical Service Manager will lead swine technical solutions for the Commercial Pork. In this role, you will develop and implement animal heath & nutrition technical, business strategies and tactics to execute functional business plans, strategy, vision and goals for Commercial Pork.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define work methodology to be used by the commercial and technical teams or clients and trains the commercial team on appropriate use.
  • Coordinate the mapping of all the technical solutions in a business, country or region to ensure the development of value solution packages.
  • Generate tools to support the sales teams in the management of their client portfolios to enable a focus on analysis and decision making.
  • Identify added value services to distributors and consumers and standardize and define key performance indicators to measure.
  • Collaborate with sales and strategic marketing to define and develop a plan of capabilities, processes, products and tools for distributors, sales executives and specialists to become leaders in the market.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience: Animal nutrition, Animal science/ Veterinary, Animal husbandry
  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge related to Animal Nutrition & Health
  • Experience leading, mentoring and coaching lower staff levels
  • Five years of management experience
