L & D specialist Manufacturing Career College

ASML has been growing extensively in the past years and will continue to grow in the coming years. Increased demand for our products is causing a ramp-up challenge. Effective learning and knowledge management is foundational to execute our MF strategy as well as career development opportunities to retain and develop our employees.

As part of the Manufacturing Academy we have set up a Manufacturing Career College.

Mission of the MF Career College

We keep, strengthen and expand MF skills and experience of MF employees to support their career, within MF, Global and towards other sectors. We focus on developing and retaining our employees.

Vision of the MF Career College

We bridge between local Academies globally, business and HR on MF career development. We will advise senior leaders and support employees on execution of their career steps via hands on learning solutions

In this role you support our Manufacturing sector. This includes the EUV Factory, Twinscan Factory and Manufacturing Services (MFS) in Veldhoven, but also for the liaison to other factories around the world. The Manufacturing Career College team is responsible for design, development and executing (with internal and external partners) of learning solutions that support career development of MF employees. The Manufacturing Career College forms the bridge between HR, Academies and the business.

Role And Responsibilities

  • As part of the Manufacturing Career College you’ll deliver effective and efficient solutions (e.g. trainee programs, career workshops, educational services etc.)
  • Support, develop, innovate and implement learning activities and HR-related learning products that support the growth and development of employees of Global Manufacturing
  • Align with the Global Manufacturing Academy, Veldhoven MF Academy and other ASML Academy‘s, Human Resources and the business.
  • Actively seek partners in the region, such as Brainport Development and educational institutes.
  • Ensure collaboration with Learning Business Partners, Human Resources business partners, Talent Engagement and the business stakeholders and get agreement on the deliverables
  • Work together with external partners and/or suppliers to create learning solutions and/or collaboration on educational level in the region
  • Align x-Academy to share connect learning activities that support growth from one sector to another
  • Have a pro-active attitude towards contributing to events such as; Global Manufacturing Day, Internal Career Festival, etc.
  • Be an ambassador of ‘learning for tomorrow’s job’, focusing on retaining and development of MF employees for ASML in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Work together on a global level to ensure that solutions such as growth paths are global recognized and accepted
  • Continue to build up a highly capable and motivated team of professionals
  • Select and manage suppliers in cooperation with Procurement
  • You are open to team up – on a regular base - with other entities within the Global Manufacturing Academy and lead / develop L & D projects.

Education And Experience

  • BSc or MSc in learning management, educational sciences, human resources, organizational psychology, or equivalent.
  • Min 3-5 years’ experience in a learning / HR role.
  • Can work in complex organizations.
  • Has knowledge about and experience with working in ‘the Dutch Educational system’.
