Responsibilities:

  • Deliver service sales activity in the Managed Services space to exceed business objectives, sales growth, and profitability targets.
  • Deliver on commitments for managed services customers through follow up, proactive meetings and strong customer engagement. 
  • Identify and develop new Managed Services Sales opportunities and new customers through proactive sales approach of meetings, cold calls and networking. 
  • Develop account plans and action plans to achieve targets by working closely with the relevant verticals and account teams to deliver maximum revenue. 
  • Develop quotes and proposals to sell Vertiv Service
  • Develop and deliver Service Sales strategies to maximise potential in the Managed Services segment
  • Exploit all opportunities for market development within Vertiv’s Managed Services portfolio and with prospective new Managed Services customers by collaborating and developing Vertiv’s service value proposition with Services Sales BDM’s and the broader Sales teams 
  • Identify, evaluate and acquire new Managed Services business from clients with existing installed equipment not under a maintenance contract that relates to Vertiv’s assets.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with existing Managed Services customers and provide feedback on customer service issues and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering or related field
  • Specialit Knowledge on the following:
  • 3-5 years experience in service sales 
  • Business development experience 
  • Strong commercial acumen 
  • Practical experience on Sales experience in service sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Customer first mentality and approach
  • Ambitious ‘hunter’ mindset
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
