Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Role Overview:

Huntsman Corporation’s Global Reporting and Analysis team is searching for an experienced Finance Manager for our newly formed GBS in Krakow. The Global Reporting and Analysis team is Huntsman’s central finance support for management close, reporting, and analysis. We currently have a team in the US, Costa Rica, and Kuala Lumpur and are looking to build a team in Poland. The initial focus will be on supporting our three business divisions, with the goal of expanding and integrating this team into our global footprint. This is a leadership role that requires overseeing financial planning and analysis, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and providing strategic insights to support key decision-making. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing project management across all three regions.

Role Responsibilities:

As a FP&A Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Review forecast and budget inputs for P&L Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Create and update regular reports for business teams, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide professional support to divisional Finance teams, focusing on P&L, Fixed Costs, and Cash Flow Analyses.
  • Act as a key liaison between the Global Reporting and Analysis team and top management/internal stakeholders.
  • Present financial insights and reports to top management, providing strategic recommendations.
  • Manage and lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and actively contribute to automation initiatives within the finance department.
  • Oversee and manage financial projects across all three regions (EMEA, APAC, US), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Act as a bridge between the Finance department and other stakeholders to streamline project communication and execution.
  • Provide regular project updates to top management and stakeholders, highlighting achievements and addressing challenges.

Experience and Competencies:

We are looking for experienced candidates with excellent communication skills and a solution focused approach.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Extensive experience in FP&A roles, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong project management background with a proven track record of successfully managing financial projects across diverse regions.
  • Experience with Power BI, IBM Planning Analytics, SAP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English (C1) required.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and automation.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with people at different locations and of different levels in the organization.
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement.
