General Mills is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst based out of our Mumbai, India office to be part of our Global Treasury organization. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting a variety of Treasury Operations processes, Reporting & act as a Treasury Subject Matter Expert on inter-disciplinary projects for the Global Treasury Organization.

As part of the General Mills Finance team, you will have the opportunity to lead and influence the business of one of the world’s most recognized FMCG companies, while working with some of the world’s most popular brands. This is an exciting early to mid-career opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and quick learning capabilities. You will gain functional experience in conducting Treasury processes, expertise with financial systems including SAP & 360T, as well as broader knowledge of corporate finance.

Main Responsibilities

Treasury Back Office & Reporting Process Ownership

  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes globally
  • Own all Back Office FX processes for EMEA (Finastra, SAP, 360T)
  • Support Urgent Wire Payment Processes for EMEA
  • Harmonize SAP processes on Back office topics in EMEA
  • Build Consistent Framework for Back Office activities (International Division)
  • Ad hoc reporting support for Debt Capital Markets team outside of peak quarter-close deliverables (example: annual bank profitability analysis)

Cross Functional Responsibilities

  • Partner with global and regional teams in the US, Asia and Latin America on topics such as dividends, financing, capital increase/decrease and M&A activities
  • Partner with Accounting, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams on regional initiatives

Ensure Strong Controls And System Integrity

  • Comply with internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Investigate any attempted fraud
  • Remediate payment issues
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • At least 5 years work experience in Treasury, ideally with Reporting, FX and Treasury Back Office experience
  • Sound understanding of corporate finance and banking products
  • Strong analytical skills and proven record of data analysis using tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience with Treasury Management systems, such as SAP Treasury module, will be considered as an advantage
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and quick learner
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize in alignment with business goals
  • Team player, able to collaborate in a dynamic environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds in multiple time zones
  • Fluency in English
