Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop tactics for communicating complex medical and scientific information to the healthcare community, including support for answering unsolicited medical questions, adverse event reporting, and other clinically related medical information.
  • Acts as a strategic partner alongside Commercial and R&D, and medical and scientific partner to both external and internal stakeholders. 
  • Leads the relationship management and communication of medical and scientific information with health-care providers, payers, and other medically-focused customers (e.g., regulators, institutional leaders) in accordance with required regulatory and compliance standards
  • Develops scientific relationships and external expert engagement on behalf of the organization's customers.
  • Communicates complex scientific and medical information to a variety of internal and external stakeholders; builds and fosters strong relationships with key external experts in their shared therapeutic category; works with external experts to execute medical projects that bridge the communication between clinical development and commercial success; builds and fosters strong relationships with internal stakeholders for the benefit of the business; and gathers and communicates field insights to inform business strategy and medical plans
  • Develop tactics for communicating complex medical and scientific information to the healthcare community, including support for answering unsolicited medical questions, adverse event reporting, and other clinically related medical information
  • Develop contacts with key clinicians, university teaching hospitals, group purchase organizations and other medical / scientific groups
  • Act as a clinical resource with professional and advocacy organizations with the objective of developing relationships and identifying potential business opportunities
  • Work closely with internal customers to develop and execute a plan designed to meet shared business/clinical objectives
  • Uncover scientific data that may have the potential for publication and/or abstract presentation

Requirements:

  • Candidates with a terminal Clinical/Science degrees e.g. MSc, PhD or MD degree will be considered
  • Field-based Medical experience preferred, Therapeutic area Hepatology/Hematology/Oncology added advantage
  • Effective communicator (written and presentation) with good interpersonal skills and experience of developing and delivering presentations
  • Must excel at working independently and in cross-functional teams candidates with a self-starter attitude strongly preferred
