The Learning & Development function is a new and growing team within Suvoda’s Talent & Culture organization. We facilitate a culture of continuous learning where diverse talent can thrive and grow. The L&D Program Manager role will serve as a critical member of the Learning & Development team, and will be focused on training facilitation. This individual will be responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of engaging and effective learning experiences for live, globally dispersed audiences.

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the design, delivery and continuous improvement of engaging and effective learning experiences for virtual, globally dispersed audiences
  • Facilitate instructor led training covering areas such as Leadership/Management training, New Hire training, Soft Skills training, Train the Trainer, etc
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions, focus group sessions and co-design sessions utilizing design thinking methodologies
  • Develop clear project briefs to frame and scope the problem, opportunity, objectives, phases/activities, timeline, and success metrics
  • Develop and continuously improve quality program/course content and materials aligned with learning objectives and engagement metrics
  • Liaise with L&D Program Managers, TC&E stakeholders, and business partners and keep them informed and engaged in the implementation process
  • Measure and report on program evaluation and learning analytics to demonstrate and continuously improve on program effectiveness
  • Design and Develop a Train the Trainer Program to support stakeholders developing department specific training

Requirements:

  • Track record of implementing successful learning and development programs/courses
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Capable of creating a positive learning environment, conveying objectives clearly, encouraging and motivating trainees, and evaluating learning outcomes
  • Knowledge of and passion for adult learning methodologies, corporate training tools, and emerging trends in virtual facilitation
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to drive efficiency in program operations and build cross-functional partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills and experience and using data to identify problems and implement solutions.
  • Work well under pressure, deliver to deadlines, adapt to change and operate with autonomy and a high tolerance for ambiguity
  • As this role serves a geographically and culturally diverse employee base, experience in working with global teams and understanding cultural sensitivities

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, adult learning, organization design or human resources 
  • At least 4 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably with experience in leadership training program development and facilitation
