The Senior Manager, IT Application Management Services is responsible Vendor and Consulting resource Strategy, Enablement, and Delivery and is expected to own service metrics and operate monthly business reviews.

This position is part of the IT organization and can be located in Sunnyvale, CA or Remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and grow the vendor strategy related "What, When, How, and Where" so that support delivers the best customer outcome with Scale, Efficiency, and Quality.
  • Collaborate with partners (internal and external) to drive initiatives related to Customer Adoption, Employee Success, Financial Management, Product Innovation, and Operational Excellence. Lead and manage a team of Vendor Delivery Managers that are distributed globally.
  • Assist with consolidating delivery and reducing costs while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed core support metrics including but not limited to Customer Experience, Contractual Service Level, and Resolution. Manage delivery financials ensuring adherence to set budget.
  • Establish active relationships with Vendors and third-party providers, internal IT leaders and cross functional peers. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure all IT leaders can make confident decisions about the selection of resources within their units and across the enterprise. Participate in and contribute to the assessment of external technology resources, and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent (MBA, MIS or equivalent).
  • Eight (8)+ years managing, IT Applications including global delivery models, multiple vendors and/or business process outsourcing teams and eight (8)+ years of people and organizational management and working within Customer Support and/or Success organizations.
  • 3+ years of experience in a SaaS related field.
  • Experience in a consulting or advising capacity with a technology provider.
  • Experience building, implementing, and monitoring Global Customer Support methodologies, processes, and policies that create actionable deliverables that support strategic goals.
  • Travel up to 50%.
