Your Team & Role

The Global Technology organization is seeking a Vice President, Information Security Operations, Security Awareness & Delivery, within the Information Security Office to define the vision of security awareness and delivery for the organization. As a strategic leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of security measures to safeguard against the evolving thread landscape of cyber security. As an expert in information security and delivery, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with strong business insight and an inclusive leadership attitude to all that you do!

Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day

  • Design, implement, and manage security awareness initiatives to educate employees across the enterprise on cyber threats and best practices
  • Monitor the effectiveness of awareness programs and adjust strategies to address emerging threats
  • Champion agile methodologies to enhance delivery processes across the Information Security Office
  • Synthesize information, actions and issues to enable faster executive decision-making
  • Provide consultation or direction for team, cross-functional, transformation or enterprise projects and initiatives
  • Discover necessary linkage between executive’s leadership team and broader organization; work with functional partners to ensure seamless delivery in support of organizational priorities
  • Focus on making time, information, and decision processes more effective to expand the team’s capacity to deliver results, improving productivity and impact
  • Act as trusted advisor and sounding board for all stakeholders; propel team cohesion and engagement
  • Ensure that the right voices (including their own), at all levels in the organization, are being heard on topics of critical importance

The Skills & Expertise You Bring

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
  • Significant experience working in an information security capacity with functional and leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment
  • Builds solid and constructive business relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, peers and colleagues across the organization
  • Successfully operates across cultures, sophisticated organizational structures and multi-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve business goals
  • Seeks to understand cybersecurity trends impacting our customers, competition, and marketplace and is invested in protecting others from threats and vulnerabilities
  • Leverages a combination of outstanding verbal and written communication skills, highly developed emotional intelligence, savvy navigation of sophisticated business structures, well developed executive presence and data fluency to drive decision-making
  • Takes a broad view of the environment to identify opportunities to improve Prudential’s overall security posture
  • Gains support and dedication from others and can mobilize people to action
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of risk mitigation and information security principles
  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification, strongly preferred

The salary range for this role is from $180,600.00 to $244,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
