2025Summer Intern, Financial Services (Tax)

CohnReznick, a top 15 public accounting firm specializing in advisory, assurance and tax, is currently looking for summer interns to join the Financial Services (Tax) team from June - August 2025. The internship program requires 22.5 hours per week (part-time interns) or 37.5+ hours per week (full-time interns). Hours vary by office.

As a Tax Intern, you will be responsible for becoming familiar with current tax theories and laws and performing procedures in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough and timely manner. In addition, you will: 

  • Work on a variety of client deliverables including work with private equity, venture capital, and real estate funds. 
  • Manage daily client workflow and multiple client projects at any given time;
  • Gain exposure to a range of tax filings, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts, as well as exposure to international, tax-exempt, and state & local tax implications

Qualifications include: 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Plan to complete 150 credit hours to be licensed between December 2024-September 2025
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in both your major and overall 
  • Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of your internship 
  • Leadership positions in extracurricular activities are preferred 
  • Prior work or internship experience (experience in accounting is a plus) 
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment 
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
