ECS is seeking a Visual/Graphics Designer to work in our Washington, DC office.

Job Description:

  • Recommend, create, and maintain digital media products (including but not limited to info-graphics, presentation visuals, newsletters, posters, and animated videos) to reach a variety of enterprise audiences through MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Assist technical SMEs in the visual design for mission-critical program objectives; visualize data in innovative ways to translate complex data and topics into accessible narratives for cybersecurity program stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain design layouts and templates that translate across mediums, including but not limited to presentations, white papers, reports, and other visual communications.

Required Skills:

  • Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience (academic or professional) with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
  • Ability to take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media.
  • Have expert knowledge of current design software as well as principles of design.
  • Experience with every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to develop designs within the established style guide.
  • Have a general understanding of cybersecurity standards.

Desired Skills:

  • Desire to continue building skill set with education and training.
  • Video editing experience with Premier Pro or After Effects is a plus, but not mandatory.
