Role Summary:
- Work with the Bangkok Site operation team to improve the quality of our word class products.
- Drive compliance with product and process quality standards, as well as ensuring supplier quality.
- As part of a team, you will need to communicate quality issues with both internal and external parties to ensure that we meet our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Job Responsibility:
Product Quality
- Provide Management to the Bangkok Site Manufacturing Quality Engineering (MQE) team in resolving complex internal/supplier or customer-impacted product/process quality issues using quality and problem-solving tools.
- Support a quality improvement program driven by the technical team to ensure that Bangkok site is managing quality with actions in place.
- Be responsible for monitoring Bangkok Site product quality by analyzing Bangkok Site product quality data, trends, and capability, and providing regular reports to management and business units.
- Serve as an advocate to ensure timely resolution of any Customer Care Requests that require Bangkok’s corrective actions.
Quality System Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all NXP policies, procedures, and standards for the Bangkok quality system.
- Work closely with Bangkok Site 's operations, peers, and customers to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews for Bangkok Site, based on previous quality events, to ensure that NXP's products meet consistent quality standards that meet NXP’s requirements and specifications.
- Work with Q-sharing champion to ensure that Best Known Methods are applied to Bangkok Site’s quality systems through quality system assessments or audits, regular meetings, metrics reviews, and operations reviews.
Job Qualification:
- Minimum BS or above in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Engineering and Science, Physics.
- At least 10+ years engineering or quality experience in semiconductor Packaging Assembly manufacturing. Customer Quality Engineering at the Assembly Manufacturing subcontractor is preferred.
- At least 5+ years people management experience
- Experience with manufacturing quality systems such as: Root Cause analysis and Problem Solving (8D, 5-Why, DMAIC), Statistical Process Control, Cpk, Failure Mode Effects & Analysis, Control Plan, FMEA, DOE. Strong in Change -Management, Suspect Material Control, and Principles of 5S
- Understanding of semiconductor device processing, inspection, test and statistical process control.
- Ability to audit suppliers among ISO9000, VDA6.3, IATF/16949 and ANSI 20.20 Quality Standards
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Auditor or Black Belt a plus
- Must be fluent in both Thai and English
- Experience in customer communication preferred.
- Ability to effectively work with less supervisory, remote from direct supervisor.
- Candidate will be the voice of customers for all quality concerns in the Assembly factories.
