The position

As a New Product Planning Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for the development & delivery of a customer centric UK strategy for Metabolic Dysfunction Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), Alzheimer’s, and other chronic diseases, including market development, go-to-market strategy, organizational awareness and input to regional and global strategy for pipeline products. This will focus on a time horizon of 5 years pre-launch to transfer to and/or establishment of a commercial business unit.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Lead a cross-functional launch team, including Medical, Market Access, Corporate Affairs, Commercial, Finance & Operations, to successfully bring new therapies to market.
  • Analyse key disease and healthcare dynamics, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure the UK perspective is represented in global plans and considerations.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics.
  • Define clear insights-based UK perspective and position on future market opportunities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, life sciences, healthcare).
  • Demonstrate solid experience in market access and new product planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare system, including knowledge of UK KOLs, policy makers, HTA bodies, and patient organizations
  • Experience in developing and delivering customer-centric strategies
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyse market dynamics and make informed decisions
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and represent the UK perspective

We work closely with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, policy makers, and patient organizations, to develop and implement market access strategies.
