What you will do: 

As a Strategic Account Manager for GI Oncology, you will play an important role in the Nordic Team focusing on launching our new indications in Finland. You will be accountable for national strategic execution, account management and driving business in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

In this field-based customer-facing role you will drive sales and marketing activities, covering relevant stakeholders, e.g., health care professional groups, specialist organizations, patient organizations. You will engage with key accounts and the broader oncology ecosystem, perform deep scientific discussions with key collaborators and be involved in omnichannel initiatives. It is therefore important that you have an open, innovative approach and can build long-term external relationships, partnerships, and networks.

  • Develop and deliver on account strategy and plans, built on solid customer insights, patient journey and business intelligence analyses
  • Pro-actively identify business opportunities, presenting value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs and objectives and recommend solutions to drive and develop business
  • Together with key partners, identify value adding projects including plan, lead and complete those projects
  • As an informal leader, lead local implementation teams into success building on business insights and deep account analyses linked to clear actions of our “must wins”
  • Together with the cross-functional team, identify and adapt marketing material and omnichannel initiatives for the local market

What we need from you

You likely hold an academic degree or equivalent, commercial, or healthcare background. You are result-oriented and have a strong team-attitude that champion trust and collaboration. Experience in oncology with established customer relationships is a competitive advantage. You have:

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales from a specialist area, Oncology preferred.
  • Leadership skills – ability to coordinate and engage cross-functional teams to drive activities and projects.
  • Proven analytical skills linked to business outcomes.
  • Commercial innovation, e.g., track-record of entrepreneurial and omnichannel approach in customer-focused activities to achieve business goals.
  • Skills in Value Based Selling is desirable
  • Proven project management skills
  • Integrity in customer interactions with a focus on needs and satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in written and spoken Norwegian as well as English
