The CAPEX Sourcing Sr Specialist is tasked to co-develop and support execution of asset acquisition strategies, established by OpCo, related to a category’s manufacturing, supply chain and infrastructure spend. These tasks include supply base assessment, supplier qualification and coordination of transactional duties associated with acquisition of Machinery, Equipment, Services and Infrastructure. The CAPEX Sourcing Sr Specialist - MEU CAPEX Procurement also works with Business Units to understand CAPEX needs, regional strategies, local market insights and supply base risks and opportunities.
Main responsibilities
1. CAPEX sourcing strategy co-development and execution:
Supports supplier negotiation strategy across MEU, consistent with relevant EOC protocols | prioritizes Build-to-Print (B2P) developments | extends of BCS (best cost country) supply base from | develops purchasing partnerships and leverages network to build upon knowledge and insight | executes innovation projects, contracts + supplier master agreements
2. Co-leads supplier development and networking to build knowledge and insights
Assists Project team to understand business needs, market insights, risks and opportunities | assists CAPEX Procurement team to execute contracts related to assigned projects and strategies | helps build fact base via internal and external benchmarking as part of the sourcing strategy | supports Mondelēz International Leadership Imperatives and Values to drive end-to-end value delivery for Machinery, Equipment, Services and Infrastructure CAPEX | supports Projects team achievement of goals and KPIs in accordance with the global Supplier Management vision
3. Engages CAPEX stakeholders, collaborates with procurement teams and manages supplier relationships
Connects with stakeholders, suppliers and Mondelez teams | support and lead regional supplier relationship management (SPE) for assigned projects or portfolio | increases awareness of EISD (economic inclusion supplier diversity) | coordinates commercial relationships and administers agreements and contracts with Suppliers of Machinery, Equipment, Services and Infrastructure CAPEX.
4. Supports Highly Confidential strategic projects and initiatives
Executes bid events, supplier negotiation, risk mitigation and quality management | co-defines and executes margin, working capital and Total Cost of Ownership agenda | assesses supplier innovation, ensuring Mondelēz is positioned as a "customer of choice"
