Specialist, Digital Marketing (web/social), Carrier Commercial Refrigeration

The Specialist, Digital Marketing, Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, is responsible for the development and execution of strategies for the Refrigeration segment’s websites, employing best practices and ensuring relevant and up-to-date content strategy, along with platform enhancements and website compliance requirements. This individual will also develop social media content and manage the company’s social media channels.

S/he must be comfortable in a high-performing, fast-paced environment and can adapt quickly to produce various digital marketing and website creative projects. In addition, s/he will be adept at multitasking and maintain a strong commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for website content updates, identifying new content and managing a regular refresh cycle, to ensure content is current and relevant. 
  • Manage content in the CMS system and other digital marketing tools.
  • Prepare standard work on a variety of digital / web / social media topics.
  • Assist in the technical review and approval of brand websites for usability, SEO/SEM, performance, compliance and more.
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on web development and properties.
  • Develop conversational and visual communications for Carrier Commercial Refrigeration’s social media channels, including highlighting key priorities, solutions and products, managing an editorial calendar, and planning strategic integrated campaigns to celebrate employee engagement.
  • Analyze metrics and key performance indicators and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support other digital marketing efforts and projects as required.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated success in digital marketing or website management within a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with CMS platforms and website management.
  • The ability to work with urgent deadlines, changing priorities, and to manage multiple high-priority assignments simultaneously, in a professional manner.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative, but also to be a strong team player.
  • Must have strong writing, editing, project management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in all applicable software packages (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite), understanding of web architecture and browser capabilities.
  • Ability to manage visuals for websites.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, IT or other relevant field.
