Solution Architect

Arrow Intelligent Solutions is looking for a Solution Architect 

As a Solutions Architect, you'll leverage your technical solutions design expertise to empower both Arrow's customers and Field Sales representatives in their direct selling efforts. You'll act as a trusted technical resource, assisting customers, sales staff, and production engineers in assessing application requirements. Your role will be to identify how a combination of our services and supplier products can best meet customer needs.

Furthermore, you'll prepare detailed product solutions that align with customer design requirements. This position demands a combined skillset of hardware (encompassing embedded computing, server solutions, and communication and display technologies) and software expertise. By leveraging this expertise, you'll assist customers in developing new systems, both independently and through our integration center.

What will you be doing at Arrow?

  • Provide Pre-Sales Technical Support, complex sales tool configurations, and systems design to implement systems software solutions and/or products.
  • Provide pre-sales support by working with identified Arrow Strategic Accounts and opportunities at a technical account ownership level.
  • Promote internal product awareness by working with Key Manufacturers and Partners of Arrow to provide updates and roadmap discussions for internal groups and customers on solutions, new and enhanced features.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry standards and competing solutions to support our business.
  • Solve complex problems by taking new perspectives using existing solutions and working independently.

What are we looking for? 

  • 4 Year Engineering degree in any discipline related to Computer Science, Electronics or Automation is desirable, master’s degree preferred or Equivalent Experience
  • At least 3 years of prior pre-sales work in a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer position with a proven track record of Systems and Design Engineering to help define and improve solutions.
  • Excellent written and oral business communication skills, comfortable presenting complex technical subjects to both highly technical and business audiences.
  • Understanding and knowledge of system integration processes, experience in one or more vertical markets such as Medical, Telecom, or Industrial Automation.
  • High technical curiosity and willingness to learn, solve and present improved solutions to technical problems, ability to think out of the box.
  • Fluent in English, another language would be a plus but is not essential.
  • Be sharp, with good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, comfortable working within a team.
