Who we are looking for

As a Senior Lead Developer, the candidate will be responsible for designing and developing solutions for GTS Integration Services team. The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in developing web applications in Java, JavaScript frameworks, Spring MVC and Microservices on native and open cloud platforms using CI/CD. The successful candidate must be effective at managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities and be capable of meeting deadlines. The role expects senior developer with strong experience in business and software development, data analysis, system flows and design patterns in order to strategically develop the various products for Integration Services team.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Lead Developer, Officer, you will be responsible for

  • Analysis, Design and development of solutions for integration services. Candidate should deliver and manage multiple development projects.
  • Represent team on all major technical upgrades and large technical efforts.
  • Manage your efforts within and outside the agile team and ensure tasks are completed successfully within deadlines with agreed quality standards.
  • Understand user needs and propose options for solutions. Anticipate critical issues and risks; take responsibility for resolution across the organization.
  • Apply analytical and problem solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Using and integrating processes through various transmission protocols.
  • Developing solution on file transport, messaging and api integration protocols using popular formats.
  • System Integration using integration software's - bespoke, vendor and open source.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 6+ year’s experience in developing Enterprise Web application in Java/Spring MVC and Microservices.
  • Minimum 6+ year’s experience on any JavaScript framework
  • Should have hands on experience in Relational(Oracle, Postgress,. Etc.) and NOSQL databases
  • Should have experience working with different messaging platforms like IBM MQ, Confluent Kafka
  • Should have working experience in Agile Teams with a clear understanding of the Agile model
  • Hands-on Experience with Integration, Ingestion platforms and event orchestration.
  • Experience in modern engineering practices like Dockers, Kubernetes, open cloud experience is a plus
  • Experience in delivering solutions using any CI/CD and build tools(Maven or gradle).
  • Experience in conducting design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practice guidelines.
