Service Denmark is part of the Vestas Northern & Central Europe business unit which focuses on selling, constructing, and operating onshore wind power plants. Service Denmark and Norway have been combined under one management structure which oversees the operational and customer relationships within our Service business across both countries. 

As a Team Leader for Scheduled Service, you will be responsible for a team of 30 Service Technicians who operate and maintain over 900 wind turbines across Denmark. We are a collaborative and enthusiastic team who is looking for our next scheduled service Team Leader to enable us to continue to deliver on our contractual promises while growing our business and maintaining good customer relationships. This means that you will be part of Vestas that makes a difference on the Danish market, and you will have a great chance at impacting the Danish Vestas organization, ensuring that our wind turbines are continuously functional. As mentioned earlier, you will be responsible for 30 Service Technicians spread across all of Denmark. This entails that you will be traveling around Denmark, meeting your Service Technicians at their local warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for an assigned group of 30 Service Technicians
  • Delivery of services on an operational level in compliance with safety standards, quality, and performance targets
  • Compliance with Vestas standards across the dedicated sites and tasks, ensuring that processes, procedures, and tools are implemented continuously
  • Assigned technicians are assisted, and a positive and effective working relationship is established and maintained
  • Ensures the team is abiding to regional laws and regulations
  • Escalation of performance and behavior related issues to responsible Area Manager

Qualifications

  • You have experience, or an educational background related to the field of work or experience in a similar leadership role with a proven ability to develop teams and organisational results
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and experience with SAP or Salesforce

  • You are a skilled and approachable people leader who has a genuine interest in developing your team
  • Possess leadership skills needed to thrive in a large, complex, and growing matrix organisation
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with external and internal stakeholders, including but not limited to clients, Service Technicians, CSM, Planning, and Administration
  • Good data and analytical skills
  • Have good stakeholder management skills and a pragmatic attitude

Additional information

Location: This position is located out of our Service offices in Videbæk, Denmark. Especially in the beginning of your employment, you will be required to be at the offices. Afterwards you can expect to work in a rotation between the office, local warehouses, and from home.
