WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

The role is to support Sr. Finance BP Manager, and Marketing and Sales teams to verify, do bookkeeping and control brand and marketing spending. The incumbent will also need to work directly with cross functions and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely review of proposals, posting of transactions into system of record, and accurate reconciliation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Brand & Marketing Investment (BMI) control and operation

  • Verify BMI budget in A&P tool & check for ROI reference for CP proposals
  • Prepare journal bookings into Blackline system
  • Prepare reconciliation and supporting documents
  • Support payment process
  • Monitor quarterly proposal closing on time
  • Review monthly appro plan vs A&P budget for SnOP report
  • Cross check with BMI monthly budget vs actual control
  • Monitor media payment tracking
  • Support on external and internal audit engagements

BMI Forecast control

  • Review actual spending and provide forecast budget for YTG budget plan on time
  • Follow up with relevant teams to submit proposals timely and accurately
  • Analyze variance between forecast and actual and provide commentary

Business partnering with marketing and sales team

  • Support and work together towards achieving business goal with business partners by providing on-time, accurate spending data
  • Coordinate with brand and sales team members to update accurate budget plan submission
  • Highlight key variances to relevant stakeholders for corrective actions

Price structure governance

  • Update price structure to cross functions team based on request
  • Provide latest price structure to supply chain team upon request
  • Prepare price update for price increase and decrease as per request

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Working Knowledge and Experience in core Finance
  • Current ACCA student or an equivalent Business Management degree in finance and accounting
  • Good command of English including written, oral and presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, with strong commitment and independence
  • Patient, strict, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to network and influence cross functional stakeholder

Skills

  • Strong analytical, influencing, business partnering, and communication and interpersonal skills is key for the job
  • Good working knowledge of financial accounting principles/policies
  • Good excel skill and knowledge of SAP, Blackline and A&P Tool
  • Methodical approach and problem-solving skill
  • Strong Insights, strategy and solutions
