Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer

Job Duties:
Design, develop and implement data service architecture that ingests real time data streams, parses JSONs, and load them into multiple data persistence stores to provide real time and offline analytics. Build fact tables to facilitate quicker and easier data access. Build indices in Elastic Search to support real-time dash boards at Kibana, and build predictive models to support AI/ML. Use Scala on Spark to build ETL and complex query models. Use Hadoop platform including different Big Data tools. Develop shell scripts and run oozie/spark jobs on Hadoop platform. Integrate Spark streaming with Kafka to perform real time processing.Use Spark SQL and Hive QL to transform and enrich data. Visualize ElasticSearch data. Access and design NoSQL data models. Perform data wrangling, data engineering, and feature engineering software. Interpret data models to build user friendly visualizations/dashboards. Use statistical techniques and quantitative methodologies that are used in decision making applications. Utilize knowledge and experience of software development lifecycle best practices, methods, and conventions including test driven development, source code management, continuous integration, domain driven design, and dependency management. Provide expert level IT technical lead services, including the direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of new and existing technologies and tools. Resolve technical problems discovered by testers and internal clients. Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Research issues and performs root cause analysis.
Job Requirements:
Require Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering(any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field. Require two years of experience in job offered, Software Developer, Application Developer, Software Consultant or related, using Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Avro, Parquet.Require travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
