The Process Development team within Sensors & Cartridges is supporting the manufacturing processes and the quality control of Sensors and Reagents used in blood gas systems . We are responsible for developing process improvements which lead to better product quality or reduced costs.

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, hybrid. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze production process and/or experimental data with classical statistics and machine learning
  • Build proof-of-concept machine learning-based projects using 2D/3D imaging data
  • Support production with MSA and shopfloor analysis experiments
  • Develop and Improve (Python / R) Dashboards

Who You Are

You are enrolled or have completed your Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Production and Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related fields (or a technical apprenticeship with a Bachelor degree ongoing) within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore you are

  • Good programming skills in Python (and R)
  • Statistical data analysis skills
  • First experience in machine learning, preferred in computer vision
  • Fluent in both, German and English (spoken and written)

Technical details:

The preferred start date for the internship is September 2024. Please state your preferred start date and the desired duration of the internship in your application.

Part-time employment is possible 

It is possible to write a thesis during the internship.
