OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

The ZeroFox Vice President of Public Sector Sales is responsible for driving execution of ZeroFox’s growth strategy and market objectives across all United States Public Sector markets and customers through the pursuit of strategic business opportunities. This person will own the responsibility for expanding customer contracts as well as pursuing new Public Sector customers. The Vice President leads the strategic direction of ZeroFox’s Public Sector objectives. This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage deep experience in delivering technology solutions to the Public Sector and to shape and execute a strategy to build ZeroFox’s Public Sector practice.

Role and responsibilities

  • Create and execute a Public Sector strategic sales plan to serve as a road map for establishing and developing the ZeroFox customer relationship using your thorough understanding of agency requirements
  • Achieve customer-specific revenue and growth targets, execute on sales activities to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets within strategic and associated accounts
  • Own the ZeroFox relationship with Public Sector customers-across objectives, opportunities, power map strategies, concerns and barriers; responsible for originating, managing and building strong personal relationships with key customer executives, line of business decision-makers and influencers
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop new senior level relationships, and nurture and grow existing relationships
  • Own the ZeroFox growth plan and drive ZeroFox’s position with customer upward
  • Set and review performance and sales goals of sales team
  • Work with sales teams to meet KPI’s and goals in day-to-day performance, sales, and increased product knowledge
  • Conducts group Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Responsible for recruitment and hiring of Public Sector staff
  • Interpret and adhere to sales policies and advises sales teams in the handling of these policies
  • Deliver timely and accurate sales forecasts to management

Required qualifications and skills

  • Experience in software / SaaS sales, typically obtained in 15+ years
  • Experience leading and managing sales teams, typically obtained in 5+ years
  • Progressively responsible experience within the Government technology sales arenas, typically obtained in 8+ years
  • Proven track record of sales success in government agency / public sector
  • Demonstrable success driving large US Public Sector program capture
  • Thorough understanding of US Public Sector procurement processes and contract vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of government technology standards, security protocols and the regulations impacting the sale of technology solutions to the Public Sector customers
  • Proven ability to motivate team members
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques in a high transaction environment, specifically in the Software industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of at least three industries and/or market segments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel as required

  • This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer
  • This position entails travel as required
  • This role requires occasional work on nights and weekends as needed
