Partner with the business to deliver high quality and cost-efficient recruitment service from sourcing to hiring including operational management and contract governance of our recruitment vendors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the operational deliverables and activities of the team.
  • Contribute to the development of the sourcing strategy ensuring cost effective approaches are considered to meet hiring commitments.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and administration of creative and strategic policies, processes/tools.
  • Lead implementation and development of improvements of key end to end Recruitment processes to deliver high quality and robust recruitment practices in line with best practice.
  • Contribute in the people planning process by providing inputs on recruitment best practices, market availability of talent, optimal sourcing activities including potential key issues that needs to be managed.
  • Contribute in the development and implementation of recruitment marketing strategies that aligns with our over-all value proposition as a Company
  • Provide support to others to achieve positive results for the business in line with the over-all people strategy.
  • Provides development and implementation of key recruitment initiatives to support the development of policies, systems and processes that meet organizational goals.
  • Implements recruitment key processes and procedures to ensure all recruitment activities (1) are delivered in accordance with the latest employment legislation, policy and market conditions (2) meet current and emerging customer needs and service expectations (3) are aligned with company and business priorities.
  • Contribute to the delivery of recommended solutions specifically on recruitment market trend analysis, candidate sourcing and selection, analysis of recruitment metrics and other recruitment services that can be utilized.
  • Source high quality candidates for hiring requirement requirements using the most optimal channels and when appointments are made manage the effective delivery of recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Manage the recruitment systems in delivering quality recruitment data which is accurate, timely and robust and which supports informed analysis and decision making.
  • Support and contribute to HR initiatives to successfully drive forward the people agenda and promote best practice across the organization.
  • Build and maintain an open and positive relationship with business to facilitate the successful delivery of recruiting programs and activities.
  • Proactively build strong relationships with all third party suppliers and ensure they are equipped to provide QBE with the very best service.
  • Manage external recruitment agencies and regularly liaise throughout all stages of the recruitment campaign to maintain strong, mutually beneficial, third party relationships.
  • Collaborates to build and maintain strong relationships with HR Business Partners, hiring managers and other senior members of the business to understand business objectives/requirements and assist in the timely delivery of solutions.
  • Build and manage external talent market data for key skills and profiles to ensure quality profiles are targeted for our hiring requirements.
  • Provide and evaluate key metrics/KPI’s to demonstrate the effectiveness of the recruitment function to be used indecision making and action planning.
  • Display leadership and direction to develop, grow and proactively support and drive forward key recruitment initiatives.
  • Contribute in the delivery of accurate and current recruitment management information for standard and ah-hoc reports, ensuring this supports business requirements and enables informed analysis and decision making
  • Collaborates to ensure all personnel/administrative records are maintained and accurate at all times, adhering to the requirements of the Data Protection and other regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Actively undertake personal development to ensure up to date knowledge and skills.
  • Manage, motivate, develop and focus direct report/s to ensure the required standards of performance are delivered.
  • Support the continuing personal and professional development of direct report/s.
  • Actively coach and develop more junior/less experienced members of the team.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication, and transfer of knowledge, between and within the HR teams.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience

  • 7 years relevant experience

  • Significant knowledge of the local Talent market supply
  • Knowledge of the financial services, BPO and shared services industry and related terminology.
