The Opportunity

Pricing team manages all Marvell products worldwide. This team works with our Product Management, Finance, and Sales teams to analyze our existing/new pricing and discounting policies to extract maximum profit for the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead the Pricing Team in pricing strategy planning and day-to-day execution to achieve various corporate and business unit goals.
  • Develop and implement targeted Pricing Actions across segments to proactively maximize profit.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls over the pricing activities to ensure compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the Pricing Team in defining and tracking business information, processing, interpreting and presenting analytics and recommendations to approvers for pricing decisions.
  • Track record in driving external ecosystem partners successfully execute pricing programs such as ship-and-debit programs, new product pricing launch, Pricebook/strategy reviews, inventory re-pricing programs.
  • Drive cross-function stakeholders (Sales, Business Units/Marketing, Finance, Distributors, Customer Service) in executing pricing, rebates, cost updates, volume-purchase-agreements, manage booking and backlog challenges in meeting quarterly revenue goals.
  • Lead or support process and system improvement projects within agreed budgets, priorities and schedules.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in pricing, sales, finance, or a combination of functions 
  • Familiar with using Saleforce.com CRM and Power BI for analytics and reporting needs.
  • Experience with Pricing Tools such as Model-N
  • Experience in conducting or participating in e reporting, programs/strategies for cross-functions, cross-level and cross-region teams for both internal and external stakeholders (distributors, sales reps).
  • Experience in developing/designing automation solutions for work productivity improvements, such as to bridge between ERP and decision processes.
  • Experience in resource planning, process alignment and preparation for company acquisitions. Scope, plan and mitigated pain points for a smooth transition between acquiring and acquired teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to connect with individuals at all levels and develop partnerships.
  • Proven decision and problem-solving skills

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

146,490 - 219,500, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
