This role sits within our Global Resiliency Group where we work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we’re feeling the effects climate change, rapid urbanization, loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we’re seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.

Role accountabilities:

In the role of a Climate Adaptation Intern, you will take on a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting planning and engineering studies for both existing and expanding clientele. You will also analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports, both static and dynamic, to communicate results effectively. The dynamic nature of your position involves simultaneous involvement in various projects, requiring your adeptness at multitasking.

Additionally, you will play a vital role in identifying and describing cost-effective environmentally sustainable resilience actions. You will have the opportunity to engage in both client and project development, where you contribute to proposals and marketing materials.

You will support a growing base of projects throughout the country with private, federal, state, and local government clients related to risk assessment, climate adaptation, resilience planning, policy, project development, feasibility studies, engineering design, as well as project funding and implementation with the support of one of the industry’s leading technical and professional staffs.

Periodic travel to local and potentially national client sites, conferences, or internal workshops is expected, further enriching your experience.
