Description
Provides technical solutions and effectively monitor R&D software development operations; supports execution of operations strategy. This position will be primarily individual contribution, with collaboration with teams located globally.
The System Administrator is responsible for:
- System Administrator for Jira to include: creation and maintenance of automation, JQL, products, issues, apps, external system integrations from Azure DevOps, Jira Service Management, etc.)
- License management for R&D software tools.
- Develops and maintains dashboards for operational readiness.
- Analyzes and maintains software applications and management information systems used for Software Development & Delivery.
- Applies comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts, and techniques to the solution of complex assignments.
- Creates and maintains user documentation related to operational and software development processes.
- Coordinate training sessions with R&D teams on software tools.
- Coordinate with organizations and leaders across the organization for continual review and improvement of operations processes.
- Maintain data integrity for developer analytics reporting.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 or more years with system administration of Atlassian (Jira & Confluence)
- Experience in process documentation and software development operations metrics
- Accommodate global time zones for meeting with global team
- Ability and desire to learn how to use software tools
Ideal Candidate
- Atlassian Cloud Organization Admin Certification
- Atlassian Certified Associate - ITSM with Jira Service Management Foundations Certification
