WebsterRogers is seeking a motivated Tax Accountant to join our firm. As a Tax Associate at WebsterRogers, your primary responsibilities will consist of tax return preparation duties, including tax research and the preparation of supporting work papers for various tax returns and tax related projects. You will work with a variety of entities such as corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits. In addition, you will be exposed to a variety of industries including real estate, and healthcare. You will work closely with seniors, managers, and partners on all phases of the project. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare basic and intermediate individual and business tax returns.
  • Complete tax checklists.
  • Research fundamental issues using online tools.
  • Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
  • Participate in client and team meetings.
  • Participate in training opportunities and tax update meetings.
  • Perform other duties as needed on engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.
  • Collaboratively working with team members while building rapport and strong relationships.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • The willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed, and travel to various client sites
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and skillset
  • Demonstrated project management skillset including project planning and time management
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment
