Communications & PR Officer (m/f)

The opportunity

The Communications & PR Officer is in charge of the development of the corporate communication strategy. This includes external communication around the firm plans, vision and values.

Your key responsibilities

The successful applicant can expect to find the following challenges and responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize the external communication campaigns under the supervision of the head of Markets and Communications. Act as press liaison: familiarize yourself with the media landscape, maintain and nurture relationships with journalists, topics with relevance for the press, coordinate information with stakeholders, write press releases, and follow up on impact. Proactively reach out to the media.
  • Oversee the Firm’s content creation process: identify and research relevant topics for various audiences, reach out to stakeholders, gather, write and edit web and print content. This can take the form of Articles, blog and social media posts, press releases… (this list is not exhaustive).
  • Create content strategy together with the team, Market Intelligence and Knowledge managers, Partners tasked with content creation.
  • Provide expert advice and/or support on communication matters to internal parties.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the needs and expectations of stakeholders including clients, prospects, employee and industry partners.
  • Perform of variety of administrative tasks as required, follow up of the correct execution of the purchased media plan.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR, copywriting, content marketing, communications.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the humanities or business/marketing.
  • Perfect English and French grammar (native speaker for one of the two languages, perfect professional proficiency for the other).
  • Working experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment, ideally in financial services or professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of diverse communications tools and formats.
  • Comprehensive understanding of web media and social media and how to deliver business benefit from these new technologies.
  • Strategic mindset: researching and forecasting impact of specific themes, understanding media and prospect appraisal, manage the needs of a broad range of stakeholders
  • Proven creative writing and copy creation skills.
  • Perfect time-management skills, ability to work under pressure

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Package.
  • Knowledge of German and or Luxembourgish are considered and advantage.
  • Experience working in a consulting firm
  • Know-how in SEO and storytelling expertise
