Your responsibilities

As an Operational Excellence (OPEX) Site Leader you will lead the site team, drive change initiatives and the implementation of Teva’s Global Production System standards. 

You will also coach the team to achieve continuous improvement in site performance, quality, service and cost competitiveness through engagement and empowerment of the site employees.

In this role you will…

  • Performing all tasks and behaving in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety and stewardship related company policies and practices, including completing all required company training courses.
  • Leading complex projects and deliver on key targets across sites.
  • Understand and operate within given budget
  • Build and harness site OpEx capabilities (know-how/expertise) to identify, implement & sustain site performance improvements in close collabortaion with the Site GM and global team.
  • Deploy OpEx Standards to achieve top quartile performance
  • As an influential member of the site management team, promote cross-site initiatives, team work and collaboration across various site functions.
  • Translate the site strategic plan to develop a workforce plan (capabilities, roles, headcount, culture). Empower the team and assists in the creation of an environment that encourages the team to raise efficiency ideas and projects.
  • Lead the site team through effective line management, coaching and training. 
  • Implement Production System KPIs, build site capabilities, build structure and knowledge of methodology to guarantee rigor.
  • Ensure local project follow up, regular feedback to the central team and propose project plan changes as required.

Your profile

  • University degree: technical, pharmaceutical, chemical, industrial engineering
  • Lean expert certification (at least Six Sigma Green belt)
  • Good understanding of agile methodology
  • 3-5 years of experience in people management 
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience - advantage 
  • Experience working in several functions e.g. Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain 
  • Proven project management experience and excellent time management skills
  • Strong collaboration, communication and organizational (change management) skills
  • Written and oral fluency in English and Hungarian
