Your Opportunity

Our Dynamic New Haven Civil team is looking for a Co-op intern for Summer of 2024.

Your Key Responsibilities

Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil engineering projects ranging from bridges (non-structural aspects), roadways, parks, recreational space, and transit facilities. Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple design calculations, and field inspections.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Minimum requirements include prior exposure to CAD Design programs (AutoCAD and/or Microstation), and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school. Past experience with Civil 3D and/or Bentley Inroads is favorable. This opportunity is primarily open to candidates enrolled in colleges & universities with co-op programs as the position requires a 40hr/week commitment.

Education and Experience

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program

Typical office environment involves working with computers. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Spring Co-op Interns are expected to work 40hrs/week minimum in the office. In-office work only. No hybrid or remote accommodations included.
