Job Requisition: Regional Sales Manager

Continental Battery Systems is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team

as a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of

Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and driving sales growth in your respective region. We are

looking for a leader who can recruit, retain, and grow our TSMs while maintaining strong

relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Territory Sales Managers: As the Regional Sales Manager, you will oversee

a team of TSMs, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their sales

objectives.

  • Recruit, retain, and grow TSMs: You will be responsible for attracting top talent, developing

their skills, and ensuring their success in the field. Your ability to identify and nurture potential

will be crucial in building a high-performing team.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor TSMs: You will play a pivotal role in the professional development of

your TSMs, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to help them excel in their roles.

  • Side by side visits with TSMs: To ensure a deep understanding of the market and customer

needs, you will conduct quarterly visits with each TSM, working alongside them to visit

customers and provide support.

  • Maintain and grow regional customers: Taking the lead in managing and expanding our

customer base in your region will be a key aspect of your role. You will work closely with RVPs

to address customer needs and pain points, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales

growth.

  • New product introductions and metric support: You will be responsible for introducing new

products to your TSM team and providing them with the necessary support and metrics to

effectively sell these products.

  • Meet and exceed sales objectives: You will be accountable for meeting sales targets for both

existing and new customers. Your ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies will

be critical in achieving these objectives.

  • KPIs and CRM activity: You will be responsible for tracking and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) for the regional sales team. This includes monitoring CRM activity, sales call

logs, visit frequency, and financial performance metrics such as units sold, sales, and margin.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders: You will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive

regional and company-wide initiatives. Your ability to gather local market intelligence and

provide valuable insights will be instrumental in shaping our business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the battery systems industry or a

related field.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and

developing sales teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships

with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze market data

to drive informed decision-making.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
