Based out of our Chevy Chase, MD / Washington, DC office, we are searching for a highly motivated full-time Product Deployment Analyst to join our team within the Research, Analytics, & Development department. The ideal candidate will work with other business developers, engineers, and product owners on interdisciplinary projects to implement streamlined processes for the rollout of multiple types of insurance products. Candidates must be efficient, organized, have strong analytical skills, demonstrate great communication skills, have a positive attitude, and be driven to succeed.

Responsibilities: 

  • Implements streamlined processes for the rollout of multiple types of insurance products.
  • Prepare, execute, and implement activities which permit the company to put into effect rate, rule, and policy form revisions for all lines of business, and develop system specifications to accommodate revisions or new items which impact the systems.
  • Research and analyze revisions to determine impact on existing systems, coordinate specifications with the appropriate departments including the development of a timetable for implementation and assist in evaluating results of system changes.
  • Collaborate with various business departments including Underwriting, Claims, Marketing and Advertising to achieve their business goals in terms of delivering new product models to consumers and understanding the impact to new and existing customers.
  • Perform product deployment independently and collaboratively.
  • Works with cross-functional business and technical teams on business/analytical innovation.
  • Contributes to project related communication and model/analytical process implementation.
  • Develop new tools, discovers ways to automate and streamline processes, derives, and enhances methodologies and implements them to maximize GEICO’s competitive edge.
  • Adhere to GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.

Candidate Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Operation Research or related quantitative and analytics fields.
  • Preference given to candidates familiar with statistical methods, data visualization and dashboard reporting techniques and platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and/or skilled in SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Live within commutable distance from our Chevy Chase, MD office and work a hybrid schedule, including working from the office at least three days per week.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
