Job Description

The Salesforce Consultant Developer is a position within the Litera Firm Intelligence business unit. The Salesforce Consultant Developer will guide our customers through the implementation of our best-of-breed cloud solution for law firm CRM. They will provide ongoing advice and support to ensure customers derive maximum value from our firm intelligence solution. This team of experts is essential to our customers’ success, and team members act as trusted advisors before, during, and after software rollout. We want to add people to our team who are as passionate about taking care of customers as we are!

A Day in the Life

  • Delivering services as outlined in SOWs and other requirements documents
  • Managing moderately complex projects independently and complex projects with some supervision
  • Assisting senior team members with highly complex projects
  • Directing junior team members to complete project deliverables
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and actively engaging in the effort to implement changes for the better
  • Leading moderately complex projects
  • Ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, and scope requirements
  • Ensuring the quality and success of the project deliverables and being accountable for managing risks and issues that arise
  • Delivering projects on time, within budget, and within the planned scope
  • Assembling reports on project status, including progress and resource deployment
  • Providing product, consultative, business analyst, and project management expertise to customers and prospective customers
  • Keeping all project constituents informed of project status
  • Ensuring all project deliverables are delivered on time and on target, and projects conclude successfully with high customer satisfaction
  • Configuring and implementing Salesforce and SLM in a variety of customer contexts
  • Acting as an SME in the Salesforce platform
  • Demonstrating expertise in assigned products
  • Providing high-quality customer education and advice as part of Solutions Engineering projects
  • Providing high-quality written materials as part of Solutions Engineering projects
  • Identifying creative ways to solve complex customer and prospective customer issues
  • Providing pre-sales and post-implementation assistance as needed

Role Progression

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Review Sigma Lifecycle Management documentation
  • Engage with your team and learn the nuts and bolts of our business and where we are heading
  • Familiarize yourself with our technology by working with teammates, configuring software, and creating demo environments
  • Gain an understanding of our procedures and tools
  • Learn the process used for implementing our Sigma Lifecycle Management with our customers
  • Lead business analysis sessions
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria for projects

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Take ownership of specific customers and lead implementations
  • Develop and provide customers with implementation best practices
  • Be responsible for customer project deadlines and ensure projects are on track to complete on time and on target
  • Work with other team members to assist with other projects as needed
  • Provide input to processes and procedures for continual improvement
  • Work with other departments to solicit feedback from your customers to ensure we are continually meeting the customers’ needs
  • Write help articles and documentation

About You

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interviewing, organization, interpersonal, research, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner to different stakeholders
  • Ability to learn new software features quickly as they are being developed
  • Capability of managing internal relationships effectively with the ability to have difficult conversations around software issues and status of projects in a clear and timely manner
  • Successful management of multiple assignments in a fast-moving environment
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a track record of:
  • Deploying enterprise software, preferably in law firms
  • Working with customers in a support or consulting role
  • Working with marketing automation integrated with CRM
  • Researching product issues quickly and effectively
  • Communicating issues and status in a clear and timely manner
  • Working effectively with a team
  • Working independently, effectively, and efficiently in a remote work environment
  • Possession of technical skills in the following areas:
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with hands-on expertise in customizing and developing Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and other Salesforce development technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and understanding of APIs, web services, and data migration techniques.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security models, data models, and sharing rules. Knowledge of best practices for Salesforce development and coding standards.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
