We are seeking a Ford Protect, Ford Pro National Sales and Strategy Manager who is not only results-driven but also passionate about transforming our business. You will have the unique opportunity to lead the sales and strategy efforts for Ford Protect within Ford Pro. You will be responsible to drive revenue growth for our Ford Protect Commercial and Fleet product line. With your innovative strategies and leadership skills, you will be responsible for achieving Ford Pro contract volume penetration objectives, PBT, revenue, cash flow, operating margin, written premium, loss ratio, and penetration objectives.   • Achieve national Ford Protect, Ford Pro contract volume and sales penetration objectives
  • Achieve Ford Protect, Ford Pro PBT, Revenue per NVS, Cash Flow, Operating Margin, Written Premium, Loss Ratio and Contract Volume Objectives
  • Identify Ford Pro customer needs related to F&I products offered by Ford Protect and identify any products or processes gaps
  • Provide a pivotal link between Extended Service Business (ESB) and the Ford Pro team. Represent the ESB team as the primary point of contact with the Ford Pro team
  • Develop plan to grow penetration of ESB products with our Ford Pro customers
  • Lead Ford Pro voice of customer inputs into development of ESB products and services
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to understand Ford Protect competition position versus aftermarket competitors
  • Work cross-functionally to develop solutions that resolve Ford Pro customer pain points related to Ford Protect products and services
  • Develop a conquest strategy in conjunction with the Ford Pro team to increase Ford Protect sales with National Fleets and /or Fleet Management companies
  • Develop and deliver ancillary benefits to Ford & Lincoln Protect that improve Dealer retention (related to Ford Pro and regular Ford/Lincoln Protect Business)
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners that support Ford Protect, i.e. Ford Protect Profitbuilder Team and Ford Credit FinSimple. Develop a go-to-market strategy to increase synergy with these organizations that grows Ford Pro ESB sales
  • Increase the Ford Protect product knowledge within the Ford Pro organization through direct interaction and training, communication and development
  • Develop point of sale marketing materials specific to the Ford Pro business
  • Develop variable marketing strategy that does not create overlapping incentives in the marketplace and drives Dealer and customer behavior
  • Improve performance through ongoing field leadership interaction/visibility
  • Retain critical skills and talent thru flexible, diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Pursue direct ESB sales opportunities outside the traditional
  • Sustain or improve all department Pulse (or other employee satisfaction measurement) scores

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors or higher level degree in Business
  • 6+ years in extended service leadership positions, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Experience in automotive fleet and commercial business (sales and service processes)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of dealership commercial/fleet operations; F&I selling processes a plus
  • Past experience leading a highly effective sales team; results oriented individual
  • Project management skills including product marketing and product development; experience specific to service contract products or pricing a plus
  • Excellent business communication skills, including strong writing competency and executive level presentation skills
