Broadridge is hiring! We’re seeking a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join an excellent team and have a meaningful impact on the Quality Engineering and automation process and culture leading the digital transformation initiative for our corporate finance team. This is as an SDET testing role focused on building out test automation and processes to ensure the quality of Broadridge internally used Oracle ERP/fusion applications. The ideal candidate will aid with the functional testing in the multiple digital transformation implementation(s) and transition over to automated testing. As a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer on the ICS QE team, you are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve product quality, along with strong knowledge on the Oracle fusion procure to pay and Order to cash functionalities. SDETs are able to understand software internals, debug code, automate repetitive tasks, and implement required automation to streamline our software quality process. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Define/review test strategy, test suites, test cases as well as design tools for QA testing with a focus on automation.
  • Facilitate and co-ordinate the intergroup meetings, initiatives, trainings, supporting QA/UAT testing efforts while the transition is in process and reporting updates to senior management .
  • Define and implement improvements to our existing Quality Engineering processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Software Engineers in development, Vendor teams and Product teams to understand the complex ecosystems of the Broadridge Investor Communications Solutions platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.
  • Maintain and enhance capabilities of existing Serenity automation framework.
  • Provide guidance and review automation code developed by other team members.
  • Lead onboarding tasks for new projects and train new associates.
  • Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failure.
  • Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform where necessary, develop and execute manual test cases.
  • Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible, supporting manual testing efforts while the transition is in process.
  • Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and deadlines.
  • Uphold the ICS Quality organizations standards and procedures, including our coding best practices.
  • Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests. Support QA Tools and activities as needed.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop APIs and automated API tests, tools, and frameworks.
  • Responsible for automating feature, regression, and performance testing

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience QA Engineer, or SDET with hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
  • 5+ years working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.
  • Proficiency CICD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins or other similar tools.
  • Proficiency in UI automation (Serenity/Selenium, Robot, Watir)
  • Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD) using Cucumber/Jbehave.
  • Experience using JIRA, Xray or any relevant Test management tool.
  • Knowledge of Java, HTML, and SQL.
  • Experience using GIT or other Version Control Systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems or related field

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between 110,000 - $125,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
